In 2006 I, Andreas CIBORIUS, founded CIBORIUS Group. From the very beginning, I turned my drive into that of the company: to work innovatively and ambitiously to achieve the best results for our clients. The fact that our client base is growing is testament to our performance. We now have over 1,500 colleagues working at over 100 locations across Germany.

Our clients include prestigious companies as well as state and federal authorities. We have always relied on the proven combination of state-of-the-art technology and flexible security solutions.

  • 2006 Company founded in Gera, Germany
  • 2007 Service division is expanded to include trade fair services, reception and telephone services, hostess service
  • 2008 Security services division is established, including property and plant security, personal security and event security
  • 2009 Facility Management is established, including winter service, landscape maintenance, cleaning and caretaker services
  • 2011 Southern branch opens in Hanau (Hesse). Gera location becomes central branch. Optimal structure thanks to short and efficient paths to respond to our clients’ needs on site.
  • 2012 Northern branch founded in Berlin. Company headquarters relocated from Gera to Berlin.
  • 2012 Quality management system introduced according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008
  • 2013 Quality management system audited and certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 by TÜV Süd
  • 2013 Quality management system audited and certified according to DIN 77200:2008 by TÜV Süd
  • 2015 Southern branch relocated to the financial centre Frankfurt am Main – an important international hub for our clients, and for us
  • 2016 By opening a new southern branch in Mannheim, we take the first step towards state-wide service in Baden-Württemberg
  • 2017 A new southern branch is opened in Stuttgart
  • 2017 The Frankfurt, Mannheim and Stuttgart locations are converted into independent companies
  • 2018 Plans and preparations are made for the company's own certified emergency and service control centre in Frankfurt am Main
  • 2018 State-of-the-art emergency and service control centre is commissioned in Frankfurt am Main
  • 2018 TÜV-certified environmental management system introduced according to ISO 14001
  • 2019 CIBORIUS opens its own training academy for security and management training courses
  • 2019 Occupational health and safety management system with VBG award introduce
  • 2019 Quality standards now reflect the new DIN 77200:2017
  • 2021 Market launch of CIBORIUS Robotics product solutions
